About Us

Shaka Butter was born on the North Shore of Oʻahu with a simple obsession: peanut butter. It's since grown into something more: super chunky, wildly flavorful, filled with real food ingredients, and rooted in the flavors and feeling of Hawaiʻi.

We use organic peanuts, organic coconut, Hawaiian sea salt, and real fruit like banana; no preservatives, no shortcuts, no “natural flavors” hiding behind the label. Just good food made with care. Every jar is crafted to taste like something you’d make at home (if your home had an extra-large mixer and a coconut grove out back. 😉)

Shaka Butter is proud to be part of the incubator program at the Wahiawā Value-Added Product Development Center (WVAPDC).

The WVAPDC is a project of Leeward Community College and the State of Hawaiʻi, contributing to the growth of Hawaiʻi’s agricultural industry and entrepreneurial community through educational programming, support for local farmers, and access to small business resources. This partnership supports us to source ingredients thoughtfully, produce in a certified commercial kitchen, and expand while staying true to our values.
